Sub-cellular Visualization of PLA2 activity in Cancer Cell line using Engineered Fluorescent Lipid reporters

Confocal Imaging of Fluorescent Lipid Biosensors (BODIPY) uptake by cancer cell lines. Note the sub-cellular localization of loads of Lipid probes on/near the cell membrane. Nucleus is intact and dividing cells are in active physiological state. Lipid probes are excellent tools for studying enzyme activity in cancer cell lines allowing sub-cellular visualization of the biological mechanism in detail.
