XII International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience (ICON-XII)

Conference

Start Time:27 Jul 2014

End Time:31 Jul 2014

Where:Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

The International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience (ICON) is a scientific meeting that has been held for over 30 years (since 1980) and that focuses on the study of the neural basis of human cognition, especially through brain imaging methodologies. The founders of this Conference pioneered the field of cognitive neuroscience through the use techniques such as electroencephalography and event-related brain potentials as physiologic indicators of the human mind.

The 12th International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience (ICON XII) will be held on 27 – 31 July 2014 in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia. The conference will be jointly organised by a cross-university program committee headed by Drs. Frini Karayanidis (University of Newcastle), Paul Corballis (Auckland University) and Ross Cunnington (University of Queensland). It will feature an intense scientific program of keynote lectures, symposia, open papers and poster sessions, as well as a number of pre-conference workshops in Brisbane and satellite events in Australia and New Zealand.
The organizers invite you to contribute to making this event a worthy successor in the excellent tradition of ICON. Please book these dates in your diary. We aim to create an environment for the exchange and dissemination of high-level scientific research in various areas of cognitive neuroscience. We hope that this will stimulate new collaborations among participants.

Organizers:
Frini Karayanidis, University of Newcastle, Newcastle, Australia,
Ross Cunnington, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia,
Paul Corballis, University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand.
