Advanced Emergency Medicine Boot Camp

The Advanced EM Boot Camp is an intensive course designed especially for PAs, NPs and primary care physicians who currently work or intend to work in a contemporary emergency department. September 14th offers optional ECG [4 hours] and Imaging [4 hours] workshops.

Built on the foundation of the original EM Boot Camp course (which has been experienced by over 8,500 participants), this advanced course goes the next step to drill down on more detail. You’ll learn MORE critical care, MORE airway interventions, MORE trauma management, MORE pediatrics, MORE cardiac care and MORE of what you need to become a master practitioner.

This course is designed to present an advanced curriculum to help clinicians provide the best, most efficient, most evidence-based care for the benefit of ED patients.

Up to 23.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for the main course and 4 hours for each of the optional workshops

Both PA and NP organizations recognize AMA PRA Category 1 credit as approved CME. ACEP, AOA and AAFP Prescribed credit also provided.

Multiple question and answer sessions with the faculty

Receive clarification and expanded information on material presented throughout each day. Each half-day is concluded by a faculty panel involving all presenters so questions can be addressed by all of the participants in a collaborative manner.

An ongoing emphasis on key documentation and risk management conceptss

The many traps that wind up being the source of errors and potential litigation are discussed on an ongoing basis throughout the course presentations.
