3rd International Childhood Trauma Conference

The International Childhood Trauma Conference 2018 has a wonderful line-up of speakers yet again. Some of the old favourites are returning – Allan Schore, Ed Tronick, Marilyn Davillier, Pat Ogden, Judy Atkinson and Kim Golding. With some incredible new speakers added to the line-up – Peter Fonagy, Gabor Mate, Lou Cozolino, Bessel van der Kolk, Cathy Malchiodi, Theresa Kestly, Efrat Ginot, Bonnie Goldstein, Jennifer Freyd and Helen Milroy.

All up, there are 18 internationally renowned practitioners and major authors in the field of trauma and neuroscience. The conference holds so many opportunities to hear about innovative, practical and translatable ways of working with creative arts, sand tray, play, attachment based dynamics, movement and sensorimotor intervention.

The theme of the conference has emerged from the feedback of those of you have attended our last two events. Trust, Love and Betrayal are at the core of the experience of childhood trauma and ultimately the relationships which can offer safety, hope and resolution. Each of the speakers will share their most up to date ideas and thinking about trauma using this centralising stock of ideas.
It is terrific value for money to see so many of the world’s leading thinkers and practitioners all in the one place.

The conference aims to educate and create conversation surrounding the themes of trust, love and betrayal with many innovative, practical and translatable ways of working with creative arts, sand tray, play, attachment based dynamics, movement and sensorimotor intervention.

The conference will also make use of keynote presentations, specialized master-classes, conversation hours and panel sessions to help expand thinking and education.
